Listicles are fun! And now because of their structured and precise format they have been popular. So here’s my attempt to write a listicle about none other than my favorite topic ‘words’. Recently I came across these sites where they discuss uncommon, linguistically beautiful words. These foreign/English originating words define the most bewildering or unusual emotions. There are hundreds of such words. Here is a listicle of 9 such words that are my favourite and the ones I added to my vocabulary immediately. 1. Finifugal: Hating endings. When you are scared to end something…a story, a movie, a break up maybe. Then you are finifugal! 2. Hiraeth: Homesickness for a place where you can’t return.
